Melbourne: An Australian woman is reported to have fallen into a three meter long sinkhole in the Melbourne backyard.
The 45-year-old woman was hanging out washing in the Spring-vale backyard and fell into the three meter long grass sinkhole accidentally.
The country fire brigade rushed to the spot and conducted a strenuous effort to rescue her.
Specialist equipments were used to pull the woman out from the hole about 10 minutes later.
According to the country Fire brigade Authority spokeswoman,the attempt to rescue her had caused no damages to the surrounding buildings.
It is not yet known whether the woman was injured during the midday fall.
