Islamabad: Newly appointed Pakistan chief of army Gen. Raheel Shareef visited the line of control (LOC) at the Indo-Pak border. This was his first visit to the area after he took charge of the office in November. At the border he visited the officers and army men, and discussed the matters. After the Nawas Sharief government came in to power, the border firings were severe in these areas. In this regard, his visit to the LOC has great significance.
