Lunar expedition: No intention to send humans


Chennai: The authorities of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) revealed that they have no proposal to send individuals to moon as part of their Lunar expeditions. In the year 2009 ISRO had made a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Institute of aerospace medicine in Bangalore which comes under Indian Air Force. The intention of this MOU was to conduct studies and researches regarding the mental and physical requirements of astronauts who have to move through space for conducting researches and related studies. To fulfill these needs, there were special references in the MOU to improve the basic facilities of the aerospace medicine institute.
