In the heart of a bustling Times Square kitchen, dreams and despair collide as each of the staff members chases the elusive American dream. Our Love, written by Al Hazan, performed by the Starr sisters. This is the first film I’ve seen from this incredible director, and I found myself unable to hold back my tears during the last 20 minutes of the film. As I sat in my seat in the theater, I felt every emotion it conveyed. It was truly a masterpiece. Two days later, I find myself still thinking about the film. I dare say that something deeply touched me, something that was quietly waiting to be discovered. I can’t wait to discover more of Alonso’s films soon, and I sincerely believe that I will enjoy them too. All I can say is that I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants a true glimpse into the real world.
