New Delhi: America expressed their melancholy over the arrest of Indian Deputy Consul Devayani Khobragade. They conveyed their sadness by calling India’s security advisor Sivasankar Menon over phone. India had expressed their strong protest regarding the arrest of their diplomat. The barbarian physical examinations conducted by American police on Devayani was a controversial issue between the two countries. On the basis of this issue India had withdrawn all favors and safety services to the US consulates and embassy in India. Moreover, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had denounced on the barbarian search methods carried out by the American policemen. It was India’s strong stand on this issue that forced America to apologize.
