Vancouver: The Caribbean Days Festival is celebrated during July 27th and 28th in North Vancouver at Waterfront Park. This festival is considered as one of the largest cultural events in British Columbia. This year, the festival is celebrating its 26th anniversary. The weekend festival includes parades, dining, dancing and other unforgettable entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a great deal from the tropical rhythm, culture and food.
The main stage at Waterfront Park hosts a lineup of bands playing Reggae, Calypso, as well as other international music. There will also be singers, dancers and other cultural performers from Caribbean islands. There is also a family zone with face painting and other cultural activities.
The streets of North Vancouver come alive with the sights and sounds of Carnival during the Multicultural Street Parade. Parade onlookers will enjoy spectacular costumes created in Caribbean style and culture.
