Chennai: ISRO effectively corrected the trajectory of India’s maiden mission to Mars. Now the spacecraft has been travelling about 2.9 million kilometers away from the Earth.
As per the ISRO statement the first Trajectory Correction Maneuver (TCM) of the Spacecraft was done at 06:30 hrs (IST) by burning the 22 Newton Thrusters for a duration of 40.5 seconds. The correction made today was carried out by the computer on board of the spacecraft.
