Bilingual education system frustrates student

Morocco: Morocco has recently undertaken a conjunctive program of education reform by taking loans from the World Bank. The main aim of loan taking is to establish developments in educational sectors of the country. They have decided to found an education and training center for women and create a plan to promote women’s rights among others. Still, the existing education system disadvantages certain students from reaching and succeeding in the highest levels of education.
Morocco has employed a bifurcated learning system (Linguistically and culturally) in its public schools. Arabic, the language of primary and secondary schools has been replaced by French at the university level. According to the new report, this education system disrupts the sense of continuity among the students of secondary tertiary education and puts them in absolute trouble. Students from the rural areas of the country feel this system of education as highly uncomfortable.
