Winnipeg: A seven-year-old girl was killed by a pair of Alaskan malamute dogs in the rural municipality of Springfield.
The girl was a student of St. Andrews school and her picture appeared on the Facebook page of a family member. The page was quickly filled up with tributes and condolences.
The officers were found a seven-year-old girl with severe injuries. By the side of that girl there were two Alaskan malamute dogs. The seven-year-old girl was rushed to Winnipeg hospital from where she was declared as dead.
The two dogs having names Shadow and Bear, were seized by the RM of Springfield animal control department. The animals were about three years old.
