New Delhi: India has decided to hold its search operation for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight temporarily at the request of the Malaysian Government who are in a reassessment process on its hunt for the aircraft at a high-level coordination meeting in Malaysia.
Now the Indian squad is waiting for the fresh instructions from the Malaysian government. So the ships of Indian navy taken part in the search operations are now on anchors in the Andaman sea while the Coast Guard decided to go for their routine surveillance till further orders
The Indian Navy has conducted a wide range of search operations in the Bay of Bengal as well as in the Andaman sea. Three ships of Indian Navy and three ships of Coast guard were taken part for finding out the traces of the missing plane.
Altogether 45 ships and 60 aircraft from over a dozen countries are involved in the search operation..
The Malaysian plane with 239 passengers and crew were vanished without trace after taking off from Kuala Lumpur March 8.
