Melbourne: In Australian open Tennis Tournament the third seed David Ferrer defeated Frenchman Jeremy Chardy in blistering heat to reach the fourth round at a 15th consecutive grand slam with scores 6-2 7-6 (7-5) 6-2.
Along with the spirited game he was also fighting with the extreme hot weather prevailing in Australia. Currently the temperature in the country is 42 degree Celsius (108 degree Fahrenheit). The game really forced him to stay in the temperature for 132 minutes. After the game he expressed his happiness for winning the match in just three sets. He referred the match as the best one since he could win the same in an extreme hot weather.
During the match Ferrer once expressed his annoyance on his racket when he lost the service game of the match to give Chardy a 5-3 lead in the second set. After that he moved ahead 2-0 following a tiebreaker, Ferrer rattled through the third set in a credible style.
