Plot

A Montana ranching family faces off against others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned rodeo hand. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to his usual SoCal voice. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows You Shouldn’t Watch (2018). I don’t think anyone does western movies better than Kevin Costner and with Taylor Sheridan writing it’s a win-win for viewers. Check out “Wind River” for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where’s Cole Hauser hiding? He’s amazing. I guess the girl is a necessary element, but she’s too strong to be a bitch. The scenery is fantastic and being from Colorado I can really appreciate the vast and beautiful land. Do yourself a favor and get hooked on this series because it’s going to be a winner.
