The exploits of various guests and employees of the luxury resort during the week… HBO has renewed the series for a second season, despite the fact that the series was conceived as a mini-series designed for one season. The series is said to be an anthology series with new characters for each season. HBO has already done this (to universal acclaim) with The Righteous Detective (2014). Introduced in Jeremy’s War: Episode #4.175 (2021). Honestly, “reviewers”? This series is a real HBO series. It’s bizarre, uncomfortable, brilliantly written, beautifully acted and shown naked, warts and all. I’ve found that reviewers fall into two categories: love it or hate it. “this is love”; praised him for what I praised him for (above). “I hate mine”; I didn’t like that you didn’t have a joke, then a laugh, then a joke, then a laugh. This is a satire for adults. When you reviewers write that you don’t like something about the characters, that’s the idea. You should find out why you don’t like them. You have to dislike what they do (or, if you’re a little perverted, LOVE what they do). Brilliantly written by Mike White, it exposes the criminal world of people, but at the same time shows decent people in the same context. Don’t like to remove water? This is a natural phenomenon. Bely mixes humanity with absurdity and covers it with the glitter of money, power and humility. These actors are ready to be bad guys, honest guys, people in the end and people trying to understand what life has in store for them. I’ve only watched two episodes and I feel that this show can go in any direction and I still like it.
