Emerald Lake in Yercaud


This is a natural water source popularly known by the name Emerald Lake. The crystal clear water lake which is encircled by hills and natural sandbank is one of the major attractions of the destination. The view of the floating fountain in the lake is really an amazing experience. Deer Park, Leisure Park and children’s Park are located adjacent to this lake. These parks are ideal picnic spots for visitors coming with their family members.
Another attraction on the lake shore is a well maintained beautiful garden. The colorful garden is really an eye catching scene to the visitors. Boating is the other major entertainment which can be engaged by the tourists coming to this location. Boating facilities are abundant here with the availability of rowing as well as self peddling boats. It is absolutely marvelous to view the lake and adjoining areas surrounded by picturesque environments and greeneries. A small Island which locates at the center of the lake is connected to the mainland with an over bridge.
